A collaboration with PRS delivers pure amp tone and feel in a computer-based guitar rig!

Waves and PRS got together to give recording professionals and guitarists a level of sound quality and performance previously unattainable with software. From the custom-designed interface to the powerful software, it is engineered to provide the first choice for guitarists accustomed to the very best in tone and feel. You get real amp, cabinet, mic, and effect samples to produce tones of unmatched realism.

The Waves and PRS Guitars hardware interface is designed to accommodate the high impedance electric guitar signal with its wide range of frequencies and dynamics. It captures all those dynamics with full fidelity through an extremely transparent preamplifier circuit engineered to match up with different pickups. The interface features custom-designed circuitry, extremely high-quality components, studio-grade jacks, and pristine wiring to maintain tone. Outputs are at mic or line level on XLR or 1/4" jack. 3-LED indicator shows signal present, nominal level when lit occasionally (showing that the best balance between level and S/N ratio is being delivered), and over. The Waves/PRS Interface delivers a superior signal to your recording system, ensuring that every nuance of tone and dynamics are reproduced.

Designed to re-create the sound captured in a traditional guitar recording session, Waves Amp was developed using entirely new, proprietary methods to sample amplifiers, cabinets, and microphone positions. Special test signals were created to reproduce the character, extreme dynamics, and frequency range of guitar signals. Measurements were taken at different levels to capture the non-linear distortion and harmonic overtones of many real-world systems. You get Direct, Clean, Edgy, Drive, Crunch, Hot, and Modern presets to start from, with individual controls for Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, and Drive. You can choose to run through 2 cabinets with dual-mic options.

You also get the Waves PedalBoard with Mono, Mono to Stereo, and Stereo channel configurations of 23 stompbox-style effects pedal models. You can place stompboxes in any order with multiple instances of each, and you can save entire pedalboard setups. The PedalBoard also comes with easy-to-use presets. An A/B feature lets you set up 2 chains and compare them side-by-side. You can even switch chains on the fly, manually, with automation, or MIDI control. With a MIDI footcontroller, you can control nearly every function of the PedalBoard.
